Hello! As you’re here, you’re probably interested in finding out more about our cyanotype printing summer workshop. Let me tell you a bit about our morning at Belmont House in Faversham. And, what everyone had the chance to enjoy…
At our Summer Workshop, participants were introduced to the process of Cyanotype Printing. An original photographic practice that uses a UV-sensitive formula coated on paper to create prints using sunlight.
They first spent time collecting foliage and flowers from the beautiful gardens. Then took time creating their own prints with me guiding them.
Our beginners workshops are open to all levels and are particularly well-suited for beginners to the process. The printing technique is simple yet effective, enabling everyone to produce stunning prints with ease. Participants had a wonderful time experimenting and making their own unique artworks.
Throughout the workshop, there was a relaxed, friendly atmosphere that encouraged experimentation and learning. Participants not only gained valuable technical skills but also left with a series of beautiful prints. Each piece of work a unique representation of the natural world. The day was a perfect blend of artistic exploration, nature, and a touch of chemistry. Everyone left inspired and eager to continue their cyanotype journey.
