Overview
This policy is for physical products purchased and delivered from The Wild Darkroom Online Shop.
Our Workshops & Courses Refund Policy can be found at the bottom of this page.
Refunds
Our refund and returns policy is valid for 30 days from date of purchase, we wont be able to offer you a refund or exchange after this time.
We will aim to process returns within 10 working days of receipt, any refunds will be issued via the original payment method.
There are certain situations where only partial refunds are granted:
- Obvious signs of use
- Any item not in its original condition, is damaged or missing parts for reasons not due to our error.
- Any item that is returned more than 30 days after delivery
To be eligible for a return, your item must be unused and in the same condition that you received it. It must also be in the original packaging. Non returnable items include:
- Gift cards
- Downloadable products
- Workshop and Course Bookings (see policy below)
To complete your return, we require a receipt or proof of purchase. All choices on partial refunds will be decided by The Wild Darkroom team.
- If a product is damaged during shipping, we will provide you with a full refund or exchange.
- Once your return is received, we will send you an email to notify you and arrange your refund.
Late or missing refunds
We will aim to process returns within 10 working days of receipt, any refunds will be issued via the original payment method.
If you are waiting on a refund, please double check your bank account or original method of payment and also check any pending transactions. If you’ve done this and you still have not received your refund yet, please contact us at hello@thewilddarkroom.co.uk.
Sale items
Sale items can be returned for a full refund of the sale price.
Exchanges
We only replace items if they are defective or damaged. If you need to exchange it for the same item, please send us an email at hello@thewilddarkroom.co.uk and send your item to: 35 Forbes Road, Faversham, Kent, ME13 8QG.
Gifts
If the item was marked as a gift when purchased and shipped directly to you, you’ll receive a gift credit for the value of your return. Once the returned item is received, a gift certificate will be mailed to you.
If the item wasn’t marked as a gift when purchased, or the gift giver had the order shipped to themselves to give to you later, we will send a refund to the gift giver and they will receive details of your return.
Shipping Your Return
- Please retain your postal receipt until we have safely received your parcel as we may need to see this if it doesn’t reach us.
- Any postage incurred by the customer will only be reimbursed by us if the product is faulty, damaged or incorrectly supplied.

Course & Workshop Refund Policy
Refunds for courses and workshops booked are not available unless the event is cancelled by The Wild Darkroom, in which case a full refund will be issued to all participants.
Exchanges to different dates are possible in many cases, should a different date be available.
